In 2008, all 140 Blue Rocks regular-season games and any playoff contests will be broadcast on the club’s flagship station, Sports Radio 1290 AM, The Ticket and News Radio 1410 AM WDOV. The two-station radio network can be heard throughout the state of Delaware and portions of southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and northeast Maryland. The Blue Rocks broadcasts can also be heard worldwide at www.bluerocks.com.

Broadcasts will begin 25 minutes prior to the scheduled first pitch (30 minutes on home Sundays) with The Rocks Report.  The show includes a look at the upcoming game, a glance back at the previous night’s action around the Carolina League, player interviews, the Farm Report, with a look at the Kansas City Royals Farm System and updates on Blue Rocks alumni.  Each Friday night, Wilmington manager Darryl Kennedy joins the broadcast crew for The Friday Night Manager’s Report.

Stay tuned after the game for the Network Flooring Post-Game Show with post-game interviews, a game recap, highlights, the player of the game, and a look at the Carolina League and Major League out-of-town scoreboards.

John Sadak, Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations:
Entering his sixth season of professional baseball, John Sadak handles the radio play-by-play for all 140 regular-season Blue Rocks games. The 29-year-old graduated from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ with a bachelor's degree in Communications (Radio/TV/Film) in 2000, and a master's degree in Public Relations in 2003. His previous experiences in baseball include spending the 2003 season as a producer for the Lakewood BlueClaws, the Philadelphia Phillies Single-A affiliate in the South Atlantic League. He has also worked for both Major League Baseball Productions and in the front office of the New York Yankees as the Bombers' Assistant Director of Scoreboard & Broadcasting Operations.

In the off-season, Sadak is an award-winning announcer for Princeton University men's basketball, University of Delaware women's basketball and Northeast-10 Conference football.

He has also filled in for University of Delaware men's hoops play-by-play, Princeton University men's ice hockey, UD football coverage and as the host of local sports talk show, In The Zone, on Sports Radio 1290 The Ticket. In 2006, the Colonial Athletic Association tapped Sadak to announce the CAA women's basketball championship game on Sirius Satellite Radio. John lives in Newark, DE.

Mark Kasubinski , Assistant Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations:

Mark Kasubinski joins play-by-play man John Sadak on all Blue Rocks home game broadcasts this season, his second in minor league baseball, as Wilmington's assistant director of broadcasting/media relations. Prior to landing in Wilmington, the 27-year-old Kasubinski worked at 1450 WCTC-AM in New Brunswick, NJ providing play-by-play and color commentary for Central New Jersey high school football and basketball broadcasts. A native of Jamesburg, NJ, Kasubinski served as producer and co-anchor of WCTC's Football USA, the only live college football scoreboard show in New Jersey.

He also co-hosted the Rutgers University football pregame show - Rutgers Gameday - and produced Scarlet Knights football and basketball broadcasts.

Other production experience includes Somerset Patriots baseball at WCTC and the nationally syndicated In The Huddle NFL preview show for the Westwood One Radio Network in 2003. Kasubinski graduated from Rowan University in 2002 with a bachelor of arts degree in radio/TV/film communications. In addition to his broadcasting and media relations duties with the Blue Rocks, Kasubinski serves as the color analyst for University of Delaware women's basketball on the Blue Hen Sports Radio Network. Mark currently resides in Newark, DE.
