Steve Gold enters his 12th season as director of field operations for the Blue Rocks. The Polk City, FL native worked at the Baseball City Sports Complex from 1991-94, where the Kansas City Royals formerly held spring training. The 31-year-old also worked for the Eugene Emeralds in the summer of 1993. Known around Frawley Stadium as "Goldie", Steve resides in Wilmington, DE.
